Who we are

ExhibitAK works with museums and cultural institutions to develop and design exhibitions. We are experienced in the many different skills that go into creating a successful exhibition project: research, conceptual development, storytelling, programmatic development, 3-dimensional design, graphic design, project management, evaluation, mount making and fabrication.

Our Team
Sarah
established ExhibitAK in 2010 after years of working independently and collaboratively as a curator, exhibit designer, and graphic designer for museums in different parts of Alaska. A lifelong Juneauite, Sarah came back to Alaska after receiving her MFA in Museum Exhibition Planning and Design because she saw a need for Alaskans to help tell Alaskan stories.
Aaron
joined the team in 2013 with skills in planning, finance and media. Aaron graduated from University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2000 with a BS in Computer Science and co-founded Lucid Reverie, a media firm in Juneau. He also co-founded the Juneau Underground Motion Picture (JUMP) Society, a semiannual festival featuring films made by Alaskans. He brings film production, website design, and the development of digital interactives to ExhibitAK.
Ariel
was born and raised in Alaska, and has a deeply rooted love and respect for the people who embrace the challenges of living in such a unique environment. After receiving her Masters of Art in Museum Exhibition Planning & Design, she returned to Alaska to work with ExhibitAK. She enjoys designing small spaces for rural places, as well as fabricating and building object mounts and exhibit furniture.
Christine
has a BA in Architectural Studies with a focus in Historic Preservation from the University of Pittsburgh and an MFA in Museum Exhibition Planning & Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Her unique background has taught her to strive for a clear, identifiable design concept that visually communicates the intent of a project, which is particularly important in museums.
